Human rights and labour
We respect internationally recognised human rights across our operations and supply chain.
- No child labour. No person below the age of 15, or the higher minimum age set by local law, is employed in our operations or supply chain. No person under 18 performs hazardous work.
- No forced labour. We prohibit forced, bonded, prison and trafficked labour in any form. Workers are free to leave their employment, keep their own identity documents and never pay fees to secure a job.
- Fair pay and hours. Wages meet at least the legal minimum, working hours respect legal limits, and overtime is voluntary and paid.
- Dignity and equality. Workers are treated with respect and protected from harassment and discrimination, and are free to form or join associations of their choosing.
- Safe workplaces. Every site must provide a safe and healthy working environment, with proper training and protective equipment.

Environment and sustainability
Much of what we trade exists because we refuse to let value go to waste.
- Circular by design. We prioritise agricultural residues and industrial byproducts that would otherwise be discarded, and put them to work as feed and renewable energy inputs.
- Lower footprint. We work to reduce emissions, waste and water use across sourcing, storage and transport, including efficient load planning and consolidated shipments.
- Land and forests. We do not knowingly source products linked to deforestation, illegal land clearance or damage to protected areas.
- Full compliance. We and our suppliers operate within all applicable environmental laws, permits and product safety requirements.
Responsible minerals
Critical materials must never carry hidden costs.
- Due diligence. Our metals and minerals sourcing follows the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict Affected and High Risk Areas.
- No conflict financing. We do not source minerals that finance armed groups or are linked to serious human rights abuses, and we support our customers in meeting their obligations under the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation.
- Traceability. We seek documented traceability to the mine or smelter wherever possible.
Business integrity
Trust is the product behind every product we sell.
- Zero tolerance for bribery. We never offer, pay, request or accept bribes, kickbacks or facilitation payments.
- Sanctions and trade controls. We comply with all applicable sanctions, export controls and anti money laundering laws, and screen counterparties before we transact.
- Honest dealing. We compete fairly, keep accurate records and protect the confidential information of our partners.
- Conflicts of interest. Any personal interest that could influence a decision is disclosed and managed.
Our suppliers
Our standards travel with every order.
- Written commitment. Every supplier accepts this code in writing before its first order.
- Verification. We may request documentation, visit sites or commission independent audits to confirm compliance.
- Consequences. Breaches must be corrected promptly. Serious or repeated breaches end the relationship.
